BB4P! – Basket Ball For Peace Nigeria
INTRODUCTION
Nigeria in the last decades had been characterized as a crises stricken country after experiencing a great variety of unrest ranging from religious to communal crises. Most of these crises usually have the youth taking the fore front of the situation. Many lives have been lost and properties worth million of naira destroyed; just because some people are interested in achieving their selfish aims. Many part of the country have witnessed these crises in one form or the other top on the chart is the Religious Crisis in Kaduna, Kano and Jos.

Our Process
BB4P - Steps to Your Dream in our Outdoor Spaces
1. What can you do?
(I) Build a peace ZONE, or (II) Establish a 5year annual COMPETITION, or (III) Give a BASKETBALL
2. Establish a Peace Zone
Purchase a Portable BB4P UP-RIGHT which can be placed on any hard surface to establish your own Custom Made/Name BB4P PEACE ZONE.
3. Host a BB4P Competition
Provide the Funds (N250,000 minimum) to host a one day BB4P Competition in your NAME. Six BB4P Teams will compete in a single round robin competition.

Our Mission
The mission of the youth organization BB4P (Basketball for Peace) is to use basketball to attract “at-risk” youth away from violent conflict and to promote peace and coexistence among Nigerian youth in conflict areas.
The Outlook
Our Vission
To have a PEACE ZONE in every Local Government Area of Nigeria (774); a BB4P Network in every State (36) and an African Annual BB4P League to constantly remind everyone that ‘PEACE MUST REIGN’ The Formula for building sustainable BB4P Networks are ‘three’ (3) ‘Six’ and the ‘KEY’ is many Local Sponsored Peaceful-Competitions.

We strive to be the globally recognized catalyst that enables young people to actively mediate conflict, dismantle barriers, and drive tangible, equitable progress, thereby ensuring that social harmony and sustainable development are the enduring legacy for all future generations.
